Card-a-Thon

Debi McBain hosted a card workshop on December 8th where attendees were able to make as many cards as they could in two hours.  Here were some of the cards created.  She will be hosting this workshop again in the new year.  Be sure to find all the details on Meetup.

Snowhaven Layouts

These were some fun layouts Melissa taught last week.  They are perfect for winter/holiday photos - this year or past.

Nativity Scene on Blocks

These fun blocks were taught by Leisa earlier this month.  She assisted workshop attendees in "frosting" the blocks and easily transferring the vinyl cut images to the block.

The blocks are gorgeous in person when lit up and make for great holiday decor!

Confetti Wishes - Upcoming Workshop

Melissa is teaching this "Pretty Darn Quick Workshop" on January 6th using the Confetti Wishes product line.  The class is just $25 and RSVP/payment is due on December 20th.  See the Meetup even for complete details.

Events and Open Dates for 2015!

Happy Holidays! May your days be merry and bright! We wish you all a Happy Holiday season and want to thank each of you for helping us to make 2014 a successful year for our retreat! We are so grateful for all the new friends we have made throughout the year and for the time we were able to spend with those that were able to attend a retreat in 2014! We have been blessed with lots of bookings already for next year. If you haven't yet made your 2015 plans for retreating, here are the open dates we have for the entire year! New Years Retreat - 2 open spots! Debi is hosting this retreat and it will be loads of fun! Text or call for details! 1/22 - 1/25/15 - Watch for separate email - we are hosting a Tag Set Through the Year Making Weekend! We will make 12 Tag Sets throughout the weekend for $175. We provide the Tag Set bases, you embellish as you like and each person will take 1 meal assignment for the group! 2/12 - 2/15/15 - We have the full house available for now! If not booked shortly, we will reserve for a private event. 4/2 - 4/5/15 - Easter Weekend. We will host a Cross Retreat. During this retreat we will decorate 1 Large Cross and 2 Medium with various techniques. This retreat will be held from Thursday 9am through Saturday night with Sunday optional since it is Easter. Cost is $190 and will include 3 Cross bases, flower making techniques and meals. Additional email will be sent with more details! 5/14 - 5/17/15 - We have the full house available for now! If not booked soon, we will host a Tag Set or Cards Through the Year event. 6/4 - 6/7/15 - We have the full house available! 7/23 - 7/26/15 - 4 spots available 8/13 - 8/16/15 - 4 spots available 8/27 - 8/30/15 - We have the full house available! 9/3 - 9/7/15 - Labor Day weekend! Don't forget we throw in Monday as a treat! The full house is available! 9/10 - 9/13/15 - We have the full house available! 9/24 - 9/27/15 - 8 spots available 10/22 - 10/25/15 - 8 spots available The following weekends, for the remainder of 2015, have the full house available. Anne of Green Gables

Today we sponsored a table at the Irving Public Library's Anne of Green Gable tea party.  This was so much fun!  How wonderful it is to be able to rummage through the creations you already have, then just add a few more items and your done with a wonderful table setting!

The blocks were the focal point of the table - a favorite of everyone who sees them.  And what a better thing to stack them on than old books from the library!!

Spring Mini Retreat - Special $100!
We will be hosting a retreat starting Thursday, April 17th thru Sunday, April 20th - Easter weekend!
We know you might not want to stay all weekend due to Easter but you can come and go as you please! We will provide dinners each night and a special project for you! Book individually or as a group!

We can't wait to have Tracy at the retreat! She will be teaching 3 special projects during the weekend! Great American Scrapbook Convention Retreat! Special $125 rate! June 12th - 15th
We will be shopping at GASC and bringing our goodies back to the retreat to play! We are only a 30 minute drive to the Convention Center - much better than a hotel as you will have plenty of space to spread out with all the tools and crop! Be the first to use the new items we buy for the retreat!
We will provide dinner each night so that's one less expense to cover as well! Rest up and go shopping again or stay and crop the day away!

Mother's Day Bouquet

Welcome to another blog hop with the Busy Chicks.  We are a group of  scrapbook store and retreat owners in the DFW area.  We encourage you to visit all our sites and bring your business to our "neighborhood"  This month you are gathering flowers for your Mother's Day bouquet.  Be sure to collect them all for your chance to win some fabulous prizes!  If you've joined us from The Little Blue House then your bouquet is already started!

Crafty Creations is a retreat center located just outside of Mansfield, Texas.  We can accommodate up to 12 croppers overnight with space for an additional 12 day croppers.  In addition, we have a nice classroom space that is available for classes, team meetings and workshops.  We have space available for day cropping Monday - Wednesday each week with our retreats scheduled Thursday through Sunday.  Imagine 4 days of 24 hour scrapbooking with no interruption!

Valentine Retreat and Day Cropping
